Wink Today's fun question!

OK, it is almost that time of year again for us folks in the US - the dreaded search for the Halloween costume that is transportable on the bus, easy to get on and off at school, not astronomically expensive to make, easily recognized by the wearer (and friends) as to what or who the child is supposed to be...you get the drift.....the IDEAL costume!

Any ideas or suggestions from prior Halloweens? C'mon, you could even post some pix!

Kim

My son wants to be a character from his favorite video game. This costume only exists in homemade form...I checked ebay and they want (and are getting) almost $200 for this costume So, I broke down the other day and bought some material to sew this thing. I am such a novice sewer, it is pitiful. Today I was working on it and he commented that he thought it was coming along great! I'm glad for his support, hope he doesn't mind the unprofessional job.

i can't believe your school allows the kids to wear costumes... our district has never permitted it..
there is sooo much you can do. I think it depends on the age and what the kid wants to be. but if they don't care I would head for scarecrow, pirate, witch, clown (clown is a great one) you know... traditional costumes
