I worked for many years with teens many who were on the autistic spectrum and many diagnosed with Aspergers. Indeed I sat in on many assesments. As with all aspects we are alll imdividuals. If you look at the indicators many of everyday people would tick several boxes, I know I would. The main principle here is individual, a good manager gets the best out of his team by recognising strengths and weaknesses and acting accordingly to have a team of happy productive individuals. Its about assessment and the resources available to give the support so that all can have the chance to achieve and grow. Simple idea but I helped the lucky ones they got the help still too many flounder sink or in eyes of many rebel.
