Exclamation EMERGENCY!!! List of 30 COMMON BRANDS / spinach pulled / sickness & death

The number of E. coli cases is skyrocketing, as grocery stores and restaurants scramble to pull bagged fresh spinach off their shelves. 19 states now have reported cases of E. coli from the spinach, and of the 94 people sick, 30 are from Wisconsin, the highest number in the nation. 77 year old Marion Graff from Manitowoc died as a result of the outbreak. The outbreak began more than two weeks ago with the most recent case reported just last weekend.

A Milwaukee family filed a federal lawsuit against Dole today. The parents say their two children became ill after eating Dole brand baby spinach and wound up hospitalized. The same law firm is representing an Oregon state woman also filing suit.Now health officials believe they know at least one origin of the tainted spinach. They've traced the contamination back to Natural Selection Foods in San Juan Bautista, California.

That company is recalling 30 different brands of bagged spinach, including the following:

We had this in our fridge, kinda frieghtening isn't it? Its not like I am worried about dd eating this stuff, it would figure though... she never eats salad. But, dh did have some and he is fine.

They are recalling SImilac now too... but for lack of vitamin C
