--it's a good thing you are finally going to an endocrinologist.
There are some primary physicians who know something about thyroid, but not a lot of them, I fear, have the training/background to deal with more complicated cases, including those that come from autoimmunity or involve nodules. Which, by the way, also means makes sure the endocrinologist you're going to has training/specialization in thyroid conditions; there are a lot of them out there that are primarily diabetologists. |
