Has anyone ever had IV treatment for five days in a row for hoshimotos disease. I just got a call from my doctor and my thryoid peroxidase test and my thyroglobnlin antibodys test came back very high and they want me to start this treatment ASAP with steriods and I think there was another steriod that started with M for ninty mins a day. Then to taper off with a pack of steriods for five days and to take Zanax. I have been dx for hypothryoid for about 7 years but now they are changing it to Hoshimotos (I have along list of autioammune stuff going on with this).
Can anyboyd tell me anything about this? Thanks susie |
