Default MS: what are your symptoms?

Hello!

I just was wondering, if you or someone you know has MS, what are your/ their symptoms?

Do any involve circulatory problems/ skin color changes?

Thanks in advance!

Hi Vanessa, I've had MS for more than 20 years and most of my symptoms are mobility related. I do have what I consider cognitive fallout more and more now. Also, fatigue is a huge issue but I take naps often.

I haven't had any skin color changes that I'm aware of, but do have circulation issues. My doctor and I attribute that to my lack of mobility. I spend a good part of my day in my chair. Sometimes my feet turn blue and I have to manually "pump" my legs around to get them back to normal. Sometimes my left ankle swells way up (that leg is as good as dead weight).

There's another forum down a ways dedicated to MS, it might help to ask over there, too. Good luck with this, I'll be interested in seeing what is said by others.

Default Check out this site listed below....

'The Electronic Textbook of Dermatology' at
http://telemedicine.org/stamford.htm
Read the parts about 'diabetes in skin disease' it explains the inter-relationships between the neurological, vascular and lymphatic systems. Seems a lot can go wrong.
While I've a Sensory PN due to CIDP...it's demeyelinating, tho at the ends, not the brain. How those faulty nerve signals go to the brain and back, thus telling the other systems to work [or NOT, in our cases], this site has explained a LOT....least to me.
This kind of information constantly amazes me in teaching me that in many ways we ARE delicate creatures/mechanisms or whatever. WE are more fussy than our computers! And, much of how we are diagnosed and then treated is thru so much trial and error. Every day is really a gift, even tho it can hurt.
