Hi Alka

As far as I can see from a PubMed search ("Hashimoto" AND "food allergy") there is nothing to suggest that people with Hashimoto disease are at greater risk of food allergies than people who do not have that disease.

It might help if you consulted a specialist clinical immunologist who has experience of working with clients with food allergies - s/he might be of assistance.

All the best.

This is a very interesting topic OP. Since acquiring my condition 8 years ago (which is suspect is immune related) I have not been sick. Previous to that I would get sick what I would consider a normal amount. I've been recently wondering if it has to do with being mostly housebound and getting plenty of rest or if it has to do with an overactive immune system. Still, 8 years is a freaking long time to go without getting a cold imo.

I'm never sick, but when I did catch a virus last October my immune system made sure it was destroying everything, included my both hands. I deteriorated a lot because of that. So the next time I get sick I will maybe need walking aids if my legs are attacked.

Default Have all symptoms for ms panel came back neg?

So far I have underwent lumbar puncture , as well as mri with contrast and without. Have double vision, numbness up the right side of my body. Underwent 4 days of 1000 mil of steroids through Iv Infusion.

After being released from the hospital ms panel the one test that takes a few days came back neg? Drs still think I have a form of Ms? Are there other tests that people underwent outside of these tests? I am new to ms and do not know what tests I will be going through. Are there several auto immune illnesses that i will have to be ruled out the mimic ms?
