No, Cindy, I've never had the single fibre EMG. I did have a regular EMG, performed on the muscles of the hand by two technicians that weren't sure what they were doing, and using a machine that kept acting up. It was negative. I've since read that the muscles of the hand are NOT the best ones to use for an EMG. So that whole study was doomed to failure from the start. The regular EMG was no picnic. I can just imagine what the SFEMG feels like.
At the moment, my MG is more or less under control. I'm needing more Mestinon some days than others, and having more fatigue. But I'm still able to do what I need to do.
