Posts: 1 Default Cidp I have been diagnosed with CIDP and taking IVIg Gamunex for 4 months. My only symptoms were initial extreme pain in both feet and unable to walk for a day . Prednisone took care of the extreme pain but still have pain that migrates from time to time in feet only when standing or walking. Previous symptoms before the extreme flare up were feet felt like a wadded up sock was in my shoe No pain when feet are up. I have a little noticeable tingling in my calves from time to time which I am hoping is nerve repair. I'm off the prednisone now and I'm going to a new specialist soon to confirm diagnosis with more testing. Anyone have or heard of similar symptoms? |

--can have a rather wide range of presentations; there are also variants, including a primarily sensory one, although a good 80 percent or so of those diagnosed report motor symptoms greater than sensory ones.
Look through this summary at Washington University's neuromuscular website: Immune Demyelinating PN And you might also want to look through the information at the GBS/CIDP Foundation: Home - GBS/CIDP Foundation International |
