Many endocrine diseases are also autoimmine (hashimotos, cushings) so there is some overlap.
Agree with Dahlek - get copies and don't give up. It took me 12 years to get a diagnosis (but I don't agree endo stuff is easy to fix!!! sorry!) and had 12 surgeries to boot. See as many docs as you need to get answers.
