Hi,
Do some of us want to be invisible?
Both?
I think awareness is good but on the other hand I like invisibility for myself.

1. I am hangin’ in there…

5. I clean up well.
6.
and more
I say #1 at work occasionally. But there are better ones. I think I would like to try #5.

Would you wear a bracelet for awareness?

Mental Health - Lime Green
Mental Illness - Gray

I'll take Lime Green if you please.

The more I try to be invisible, the more visable I appear...

It's hard to walk at a super slow pace with a very pronounced limp or wheeling around in a chair and not be seen.

Trouble is... people look at me and then walk away and whisper...oh the things I have heard said about me.

Dear Abbie,

Does a part of you ever want to give them a show -- to be very visible?

And let them see themselves?

I've never thought of that...

Not sure how to go about that...

Normally when people are rude about me parking in the blue zone (aka handicap parking) I tell them I would gladly trade my legs for theirs any time and that they couldn't stand having them for more than 5 minutes.

As far as comments about me using an electric cart or my wheel-chair... I try to ignore them but it still hurts very much.
