Invisible Chronic Illness Awareness Week September 14-20

The more I try to be invisible, the more visable I appear...
It's hard to walk at a super slow pace with a very pronounced limp or wheeling around in a chair and not be seen. Trouble is... people look at me and then walk away and whisper...oh the things I have heard said about me.

I've never thought of that...
Not sure how to go about that... Normally when people are rude about me parking in the blue zone (aka handicap parking) I tell them I would gladly trade my legs for theirs any time and that they couldn't stand having them for more than 5 minutes. As far as comments about me using an electric cart or my wheel-chair... I try to ignore them but it still hurts very much. Abbie
