Dear bizi & diMarie:

This drug Seroquel... and another called Zyprexa are SO BAD that sick patients have joined up to take class-action lawsuits against the manufacturers. The "class-action lawsuits against Seroquel and Zyprexa are easily found by Googling them.

Zyprexa, in particuclar has caused thousands of patients massive, fast weight gain, leading eventually to diabetes. The manufacturer, Eli Lilly, has recently settled in the U.S. for $1 billion, and in Canda a settlement is nearly finished for something around $111 million.

I was given Zyprexa in 1993, allegedly for "anger control." What it did was cause me to gain 45 lbs in two months. I did not become diabetic, but I have dieted and exercised my weight gain down by 30 lbs, but that final 15 lbs just will not go away! I am SO angry at the doctor for giving me this without any warning about the likely side effect of weight gain.

My neighbour has been on a massive dose of Seroquel for a long time, and he looks and acts like a zombie all the time. This can't be good.

I thing all users of Seroquel or Zyprexa should look up the existing class-action lawsuits and join them. Might as well get some compensation for the damage these drugs do.
