DI hugs, and I am sure it took lots of courage to share what you did.
I want to say thank you.

Not sure what to think, I seemed to need to sleep all day. Will have
trouble sleeping tonight. Oh well, just life.

Get to go on the radio tomorrow for my work. Not sure how much
I'll enjoy this. But wont be alone, so that will help.

Bizi,
We talked.
I'm calmer now.
I tried to impress upon me that he needs to let me sleep.

Donna,
The radio show might be fun.
I hope it goes well.

Monday morning here

So weekend is officially over.

Di, I am also coping with the Mother Daughter issue now. How right you are about it being a complicated issue.

I hope it is at a better level now. Mine changes minute to minute.

Oh Mari, I hope you are OK now and that you have managed to catch up on your sleep.

Which book have you been reading?

Mari 11-09-2009 02:15 AM

Dear Isis,

I've read read less than 25% of Milan Kundera's Immortality.
I was supposed to read it with a student who has a research paper on it.
I pretended to read it. But now she has to present the paper to other people with me. I am going to make a weak excuse to schedule to presentation next week because I am not ready this week.
The student is ready but the teacher is not.

The mother daughter stuff is tremendously complicated.
I don't have children but I can empathize.

I hope that you have good week and continue to do what your body tells you.

I wish peace for your heavy soul. We can not sleep when the mind is filled with clutter.

Sorry to go on and on, but maybe for my own heart too I had to take this trip.
Do you like puzzles to put together? I can remember every section being completed of the old time Coke Cola one we did.

Now Katie and I should put one on the table and work on it,

Edited long story short

My step mother controlled me a lot. She did it because she loves me too much. She still tries to control once in a while. But she doesn't mean too. She just wants the best for me even though i am a grown adult :) That is understandable. I love her now that I have a better understanding of where she is coming from but the hurt is still there a little. But in time it will heal over.
She is going to have a cow when i get married to my boyfriend LOL
REBEL!:D

Wanted to post.

The radio program went well. I think I sounded okay.

I had my co-worker for support and she had me.

I am glad to hear all went well Donna,
Radio is a lot harder then tV when what comes out is it, no edit, On TV interviews they take a ton of info and edit it down to minutes.
Good for you and sharing what you had to say with others
Di

Luckily this one wont air till the weekend. So they will get to edit it.

That is good for us.
