Lol, fwiw Mari... it always takes me several months to get accustomed to new areas. I am glad you are getting out there now and exploring. I am sure when people get to know you and you them they will work with you if you are having difficulties.

thanks! this is the first time i've had this level of productiveness in a long time. I do feel good about it.

It was really hard tracking down the office that releases this certificate. Some time ago i had tried to find out because you can get additional medical benefits, but i gave up because i got referred and referred and it ultimately sounded no such certification was available. However, it is required for this class. So i knew SOME stupid government office did it, and got back on the phone.

So next week i get to make the trip, look for my University paperwork or a transcript, and write an email to apply for candidacy for this class. Not sure what criteria they will use to decide who gets in.

The class is C# ... a programming language for which there is now growing demand on the market. i *hope* that that between having the skill itself and having taken an official class, i will be more employable - and also APPEAR more employable on paper!

Hi all

I went shopping early thanksgiving morning with the hubby. We bought somethings. But the thing he went for, the WII fit for me. We didn't get,
the line was to long. But that is okay, I am just so glad he was thinking
about getting it for me. And still is.

Then we went to my mom's. Had a great time, stayed till Saturday me and
Derrick. I went shopping there with my mom and one sister.

Also did some other things. Was fun.

Then hmmm, came home last night, had to stop at the hospital. Derrick
started having a seizure it seems somewhere between Kokomo and home.
So the headache and seizure took us to the hospital.

But the really good thing is my husband is changing about things with the
seizures. i had called him on my way to let him know I was stopping there.
And he asked if I wanted him to meet me there. Its not a usual for him.

ps. Derrick is still off thinking wise today, but otherwise good. He had
missed some medicine.

I've been in bed sick since Friday evening.... I'm lucky if I can keep liquids down....

I have a terrible sharp pain on my right side...just up and to the right of my belly button.... No fever. Just lots of aches and pains....

I'm going back to bed now....

That is very cool about your hubby being more supportive of Derrick's szs. i hope Derrick feels better tomorrow. Glad it was "just" that he missed some meds, as opposed to a true breakthrough sz.
