Default Jan 3, 2010 what you up to this weekend.

Okay as most of you know. I've been sick. I've been on my couch all
weekend. Can't seem to get rid of a fever, sweat or the fact that its
hot at times. So it got so bad just recently that I can't seem to sleep
right now. So I'm here leaving a message.

I will be around, but who knows when.

Heart Dear Donna

are they sure it is bacterial - did they do a culture or just change to another antibiotic maybe a broad spectrum one? and did they also test you for H1N1?

the intractable fever and coughing sound suspicious esp after your new antibiotic. we were told even symptomatic relief was difficult to achieve when my mom was sick.

i don't want to frighten you. just wondering if that has been ruled out. because if its viral (any kind) the antibio will just make you weaker as you probably know.

sigh. keep resting up even if you can't sleep - rest is important. i hope you get better soon.

(((hugs)))

Default this weekend

i did a jigsaw puzzle, something i haven't done in a long time. it took some sorting out to make the space, but i managed. it is not something i can do too often. small disappointment at the end because a piece turned out to be missing (i'm sure it was missing from the box because i hunted for it very early on and could not find any pieces with it's "peculiarities."

also made 2 single sheet calendars for my mom - for this year and the next.
and printed 2 transcript requests as i will need to get transcripts to TRY and get into the class i want to do... sigh... long story...

watched bones and columbo and monk.

Waves

I have been worried about h1n1 or something too. But the thing is I haven't
felt sick at my stomach. And havent vomited or had diahreah. But I am
sleeping at night luckily.

I'm watching my blood sugar its not something I enjoy personally. But its
been dropping below 100 about 3pm the last two days. I'm not sure but
I'm pretty sure its been low at other times. But it took a lot to find my
meter.

My cough has been very much like the bronchitis that has been diagnosed.
So it makes it hard to not keep with this right now. I'm going to go
back to a doctor tomorrow if its not a lot better I think. I'm not positive.

I have a appointment on Thursday with my primary, because the one on
Thursday didn't think it was going to go away on its own.

Default Cold

Hello,
It's cold here.
Well, I mean it is cold outside.
I'm not cold exactly because I am inside and warm: I'm sitting here listening to the heater and praying that it keeps working.
(Anxious tonight because hubby has been out with buddies all day.)

It is 51 degrees F. 'Will be 40 during the night.
Laugh if you want. Last year we had a warm winter only two cool days I remember.
It stinks that it will be cold during the work week.

Where I work we go in and out of small buildings -- not one building.
I've got no idea what to wear.

I sound pathetic.

And this place is a mess because last week we opened up boxes and now stuff is everywhere. I have to climb over stuff and can't see to do anything.

Maybe I will take a nap until hubby gets home later.

Dear Donna,

You don't need to worry. You will see a doc on Monday.
And you are keeping track of your blood sugar levels.

You need to see a specialist who can give you a chart so you know what the ranges should be during the day.

Here are two samples:

I hope the doc tomorrow and your own doc on Thursday can help you.
