Default I has a questions.

I was wondering if bipolar disorder causes you to get sick out of no where and then a few hours later it is like you were never sick a day in your life. For example,
When I was 17 years old I passed out, threw up and passed out and was pale as can be, I was cold and clammy. And I had diareaha. I had all of that all at the same time happen to me. And then my step mother would rush me to the ER and the doctors ran every test and saw that I was fine. And I slowly recovered and I was dehydrated of course but other than that. She was like" BUT I SAW HER PASS OUT! HOW CAN YOU SAY SHE IS OK! ? THAT MAKES NO SENSE HOW CAN A HEALTHY GIRL GO FROM SUPER SICK TO NORMAL SO QUICKLY LIKE THAT? SHE LOOKED LIKE DEATH!

Of course she looked like death was a figure of speech. But i went from normal to like super sick child on the floor not moving. To normal child again.
I also have a friend who is bipolar and her daughter might be too. Her daughter is three and her body has this lovely pattern where every Wednesday around 4 pm she throws up. It happens for no reason! And then after that she is fine. But this happens every Wednesday. Weird right?
Is that part of having bipolar? Because ever since i started on bipolar treatment I have been less sick.

Can someone explain me what this is? have any of you experience any of this?

Thanks

Sharla

Dear Sharla,

There could be something to this.

But I have no way to know access the scientific literature about this.

I'm glad you made it through your childhood. You body did its best to help you through.

I am glad that I made it too. Thanks Mari for trying to look for me. I have been suffering some gastro intestinal pain issues. I think I should start taking fibercon again. And I need to drink more lactaid milk and perhaps start up on the aloe vera drinks. sigh... and the fish oil too.
i hate IBS but lately it has been like painful when I wake up and before I went to bed. I think I am just excited about being married and moving in with the hubby finally.

Red face

I was going to ask you how married life was treating you....
I have never heard of that related to being bipolar.
But who knows?

Married life is great. I am just excited to move in with him. I have been so busy lately. He was miserable with out me being there. I was going to move in with him in June. But I told him I will move in at March. And I bought my ticket already. He really misses me my poor Suami, (this means husband in indonesian ) Ever since I say I come earlier, he has been way happier.!

Thanks everyone

Sharla Tia

Dear Sharla,

What happens if you don't drink any milk or milk products at all for 2 weeks and then drink a lot of milk at the end of the 2 weeks?
You could run your own test to see if milk is a problem.

Default Addison disease

Now someone is telling me to get screened for Addisons disease because they said my symptoms match Addisons disease. Blah! I am too afraid to get checked for that one! Adrenal insufficiency is no fun

Hi Sharla. You could be allergic to Dairy products. I know that I am.

Mari. Thank you for bringing the dairy subject up. My stomach, and digestive system gets all out of wack with milk, and dairy products. My anxiety problems adds to the intensity of my allergy attacks.

I was fed with store bought milk when I was a baby. I had a onset of allergies to many things, especially when I was about 20 years old. BF
