Default neuro gave me Nuvigil (armodifinil) -- new version of Provigil

HI,

The neuro I go to for sleep apnea said I was averaging 4.5 hours of sleep a night (not counting a few naps each week).

I told him I don't sleep and I'm tired.

He gave me a sample pack of Nuvigil (armodifinil).
He told me to take half a pill upon waking.
So that means I would be taking 75 mgs.
He says it will improve wakefullness and help with fatigue.

I will call the pdoc to check with him -- mostly because I forgot to remind the sleep neuro that I had a stroke in July and can't take anything that increases risk.
