I remember the food in Bermuda is pretty expensive. My cruise line gave us coupons for a lunch and a dinner on land. But you can always eat on the ship... that's included... free.
We went on a freestyle trip too. And dressed business casual for dinners- no hats allowed. We wore whatever we wanted for breakfast and lunch. It was hot and rained heavily one day but only briefly. We took cabs a few times- scary drivers! The beach was within walking distance of where our ship was docked. I think you'll have a great time! Bermuda is so beautiful! And there are a lot of things to do! |
Dear Kay,
Why no hats? I'm trying to figure out what the hat rule is. http://bestsmileys.com/hat/2.gif http://bestsmileys.com/hat/3.gif Regarding the dress code in Bermuda: http://www.bermuda-attractions.com/bermuda_000164.htm Are they dressed more formally that than Americans and the people of the Caribbean? We have been getting lots of thunderstorms late at night, and early in the morning in the last couple of months. Rain was coming down in curtains about 4 AM this morning. I heard the thunder headed my way.
My brother in Law says their 80 pound dog jumps on him,and shakes with these late night,or early in the morning thunderstorms coming though when he's trying to sleep. This is a very active year with thunder activity. BF:hug::hug::hug: |
It has been a crazy year for weather.....
record breaking rain, snow, temps, highs, droughts, flooding, tornadoes, wild fires.....wonder what the hurricane activity will be this year???? bizi |

A cat has been hanging out by mydoorstep. Hubby and I never feed him. He stops by anyway.
I hear birds in the morning. That is how I know it is time for bed. Rainy lately in the afternoons. We need still more rain. |
ha! you have been adopted!
One day soon that cat is likely bring a mouse (dead or very close to it) to your doorstep. Or a bird or lizard or cicada in same conditions.
It will be an offering, and an indication of domicilial belonging. With the implicit message, "Feed me, Seymour." So, best at least one of you or hubby change your name to Seymour, and buy some cat food. ;) :D hehe ~ waves ~ p.s. cats are not offended if you do not eat their offering, thank goodness :p. but will be confused if you get angry about it. i know it's hard if they show up with a half-mangled ruby-throated hummingbird, but, they just won't understand "pretty-bird-no-kill" no matter how you scold. they might even think it's not good enough and try to get you something bigger, better, prettier (...or more disgusting). |
