Still waiting for he real Spring nd Summer like weather to cook out or eat on the deck. Frost warnings again tonight, last Wednesday it was 90*.
Sears is picking up the garden tractor and issuing a check on lemon law, couldn't fix it. Mechanic thought a zip tie was good way to resolve the emergency shut off switch.

But, I hope after bringing in all the flowers tonight I hope it is the last.

Anyone doing anything special having he day off. How's your weather? It was terrible what happened in OK. My prayers for the town and families.

Hi ladies,
Actually may get to 70* out and hot hot hot the end of the week. I need to check on the planted flowers that I could not bring in from the cold last night.

We are just hanging out. I want to get h deck ready for the summer and hopefully it's safe to get the tomatoes in the ground.

I am looking Brokenfriend, i had hoped he posted how he is making out .

A cook out on the deck sounds so nice. I hope you get to do that soon.

We have been having crazy weather lately too. snowed in a nearby region - and not talking mountainous. (well, it also snowed in the mountains - those are covered in it!)

Hi Waves, I was looking for you. Dd asked if your lower grade students attend school year round, are they on a Spring break about now, or off for Summer break? We did get the canopy over the deck today, the. Hamburgers grilled, and I was sitting watching a movie on Net Flix, Christopher Reeves was in it, really great actor, emotional kind of leading man. "morning Glory, I have no idea why, nothing about flowers in it.

Hi Di,

There is no concept of Spring Break at all here - at any academic level. There is a 2 week Christmas break, and a 3 month summer vacation. Other than that there are just public holidays which are generally single days at a time. FYI, here, a public holiday that falls on a weekend is tough luck for the work force and students, as the observance is NOT "moved" to a Monday or Friday.

Schools are not out for summer yet. Summer vacation runs early-mid June through early-mid September, dates vary from region to region and from year to year.
