What's going on this weekend?

So far so good here, got some housework done, did a little more coding on my project. Haven't walked, but hope to remedy that this coming week.

Allergies are starting to hit me hard. Been having to eat antihistamines more often than i'd normally care for. It seems that everything is in bloom right now. in fact, according to my mom, even some things that "normally" would not bloom until later.

it is very pretty though... plum and peach blossoms, some kinds of apple blossoms i think too. lots of magnolias, different types, pink and white. one house on the way to the store has a star magnolia (the flowers have skinny petals that make them resemble stars) - it is just magnificent. all the gardens have daffodils and violets popping up... and hyacinth i think. and other things i can't name lol.

we don't have a garden but i get to look at others' when i go out. soon, there will be roses. come to think of it, each may, there is a rose exhibition in a semi-nearby city. maybe i'll go if the weather is good. i went one year, but it had rained and destroyed most of the blooms.

Sounds like a good plan for the weekend so far waves, sorry about the allergies, they have been a flare for most of the nation this year.

My plans are finishing the income tax. I am hoping to take a rose bush down the cemetary. Need the son to help dig and carry the water.

I slept in today I was soooo busy with work this week. Not the amount of hours, but number or days. Next week I have appointments everyday.

The two employers, have cases I am working on. One is accident scene pictures and the vehicles;witness statements.
The other, I like, its wellnes checks. this week are two ladies to follow up with, hoping to get them both in one day because of the distance. About a 200 mile round trip.

How is there time to be depressed when I cram each day with sooo much. dd has state edu test, tons of house work and paperwork.

A huge wonderful fulfilling event. My dear grandson, spontaniously hugged me and said "I love you Mamma", a great hug and kiss.
We often say we love someone, but there is nothing as pure and sweet as an innocent child who expects nothing in return to share his love for you.

I wish the wiggle worm would sit more then 5 minutes in my arms...he will be 5 in a few weeks. So tall. I am very blessed.

Hi,

I have a cold and starting to feel whiny about it.
Often I get one cold a season that lasts about a week.
This seems to be my second cold -- or the last one did not go away completely.

Last week hubby was dealing with a cold. He's better now. Thank goodness. What is it with men when they get a cold?


I hope some day I can learn how to sleep.

As i mentioned before,my friend who is a singer and knows tons of musicians said that mucinex without any letters was the best..........i am sorry you are not feeling well. stuck with bipolar plus not feeling physically well is the pits
I am trying Depakote for sleeping. Dr. M. said to take it before i go to sleep.
it might be helping. have you tried it?

Dear Di - wowww you have a busy busy busy life!!! i am glad you got to sleep in yesterday. what a touching moment that was with your grandson. thank you for sharing that.

Dear Mari - i hope you recover soon from your cold. i hope that you are able to rest at least, if sleep is not forthcoming.

Dear Bobby - i am glad you got your Depakote. here's hoping that it helps you with sleep, and maybe attenuates some of the rage too.

ITs been between cool and nice here. Derrick and I have been home most of the wekeend. I did go to walmart this morning but that was all.

As I said in the fyi thread thanks again alffe!
our computer died on us...it literally was about reading to catch on fire...hubby was trying to back up the system before it crashed just as he was finished something exploded on the inside and then a huge amount of smoke came billowing out.
who knows at this point if the material got backed up or not....a part is on order now wait and see if this fixes it...if not new computer for us...they are expensive, would have to buy everything new including a new printer.
anyway
worked int he yard some yesterday...went to the gym, at steak and spinach for dinner, went to art walk to listen to my friends drumming group a bit and saw some great artist works, then to the symphony for an evening of short operera performances, we were given tickets, then to visit our friends(who gave us the tickets, they are musicians who performed)...it took great restraint to not drink the margaritas nor eat the chips and dip, or nuts or m&ms....sigh...I sipped on diet tonic water....
so it was a busy day! fun! today we went to lake martin to look at the egrets and herons and spoon bills, saw a warbler for the first time and talked with a nature perserveancy that has just been built out there at the rookery. so that was fun...now am here at the library, limited time...
I missed being on line and am glad that this library lets us use their computers!!!!!

Hi Beth! So glad you could get on the computer at the library. It is nice to see you! what a fun day you had. congratulations on resisting all those goodies at your friends' place!

hmmm a margarita sounds good to me too about now, lol. haven't had one in.... oh a very long time. won't have anything similar till i finish with my benzo. i have a half glass of wine with dinner sometimes, but that's it.

things have been quiet for me basically... until tonight... sitting here troubleshooting computer stuff like mad... lol.
