Default A cool song

I heard a song that I haven't heard in years. I wish that I could bring it to this forum. It's a peaceful song. It's called "White bird",by the group "It's a beautiful day"-1968. It's on You tube. Please listen to it. I listened to it several times. Peaceful. BF

Default Thank you Waves

I had a feeling that you would bring that link to the Forum, and thank you.

I've been doing a little better. My sister,Dad,and I are getting along better.

My new case manager for the mental health services is being helpful with the billing mistakes that I've received resently.

We had a beautiful blue sky today, the temperature has gone down from that 90 degree weather, and it felt good. I see blossuming trees, butterflies, and all kinds of signs that Spring has arrived. I saw a turtle crossing the road resently, and I saw a rabit yesterday. I observed it for awhile before it moved off in half hops.

I hope that you are doing well. I hope that your family is doing well.

When I heard that song "White Bird",it brought some deeply sentimental thoughts to me. I wonder how the people that I knew back in those days are doing. I was a teenager going off to Prep school.

Deep calls unto deep...,and thats what that song did to me. I didn't know that I wouldn't see some of those people again. I emailed my life long friend down in Mississippi to listen to that song. He went to college down there, and got married, and decided to stay down there.

Dear Steve,

your post made me smile from ear to ear!

i am so glad to hear things are going a bit better for you... that the health services people are being helpful and especially that you and your family are getting along more. It is so hard being alienated from one's own family.

i am doing ok, struggling a little, but getting somewhere (i think). my folks are fine also. thank you for your well wishes.

i so enjoyed your description of the wildlife around you. actually i have enjoyed all of your recent posts talking about Spring and all the adorable little critters you have been seeing... scenes that just make me melt.

it sounds as though White Bird stirred up a big wave of nostalgia for you... music can do that to me too. some songs in particular, especially when they evoke strong memories ... i'm glad you are still in touch with your friend in Mississippi. Sometimes, even if we are oceans apart, our hearts still remain close to those we bonded with a long time ago. My girlfriend in Florida... she is like a sister to me... sometimes i want to see her so bad it rips me up. i want to come back but ... who knows any more. we keep in touch however we can though. we even write snail mail - so few people do that any more lol. i love getting things in her handwriting, and she draws little things too. occasionally we get to talk on the phone. our bond is still the same, even from afar.

White Bird is a soothing, soothing song. i listened to it over and over too.

The Dove in that You Tube film is a beautiful creation. What beauty there is out there that we sometimes don't see. BF

Red face aww

thanks Steve. you are a real sweetheart, and a treasure here yourself.

i'm glad you liked the dove. there were actually several videos with the same sound track to choose from. i chose the one i posted precisely because of that beautiful dove.

it is true how we can often miss the incredible beauty that surrounds us. also, sometimes depression can cause us not to be able to appreciate beauty in the way that we otherwise might.
