Thanks for asking

Piglet had her surgery. She is doing well, eating, peeing and is the life
of my party. Or house to me.

She is lots better, not doing the lets see if anyone thinks I'm peeing
to get attention. Which is good, that was what made my husband upset.

I am doing okay. Other than I can't seem to get rid of my headache.
I will be calling my doctor tomorrow about the liptor. I have to solve
this. Or see if there is another solution.

I do have a migraine medicine. But I am out. So I have to get new
medicine.

Donna, the migraine could be bad because of the news of the lay off? Does Lipitor usually cause migraines? I may have to take it.

Liptor can cause headaches. I have decided its sinus's.

So I will watch.

Have to add some more things!

Okay on Tuesday it was awards day for the Working kids from the Co-op
and we had 4 of the 6 kids that were honored from Derrick's small
school at the awards program. WOW

I was like wow, I can't believe this. There were I think about 30 kids
all together, but I'm not postive. There are 7 schools in the co-op. And
all schools were represented and I believe that we are close if not the
smallest high school.

We are definately the most rural school. And it was so neat to see that
we had so many kids placed in jobs. It was just fantastic.

Anyway, Derrick's Boss and the nurse's couldn't come to the awards banquet.

So he chose to buy them a plaque with a nice bibical saying on it. Because
they have things with these kind of saying on them in the office.
And a Big Cookie with Spring Decorations on it. And the Job Coach's asked
him to take the certificate back to the Staff.

He was the only student asked to do this. It was kind of neat to see they
trusted him so much. We took the special things to his Clinic Boss tonight
and ate part of the cookie with her. She was so touched. Also
gave her one of his prom Pictures.

It was so neat.

Wow

that is fantastic about Derrick's school. :) impressive.

and you must be so proud of him to earn this award. He sounds like such a sweet person, too... with getting the plaque and the cookie (it reminded me of his Christmas shopping. :D)

Glad to hear Piglet did well - i confess i only saw that now, gosh.

migraines.... i have migraines, and i also have (BAADDDD) sinus. at some point i realized that my migraines sometimes trigger sinus congestion. sometimes the reverse happens, bad sinus can (but does not necessarily) trigger a migraine. so when i have both it's a chicken-egg problem as to what to medicate. i tried different things and finally sorted out that in these situations i have to medicate the migraine, regardless which came first. i generally use an NSAID for migraines, and that can help sinus inflammation and congestion due to it as well. decongestant can be helpful if the sinus still doesn't clear with the migraine. i hope this isn't confusing. i found having both symptoms very confusing.

sinus symptoms secondary to migraine are documented, by the way. and my doc confirmed that the reverse can happen - sinus inflammation can trigger a migraine. so i know i'm not crazy - that it can go either way.

i hope you are feeling better. i am currently having congestion so bad that even my script med is not controlling it, not yet anyway. it takes 2 weeks to ramp up. i am still having to take actifed, and eating indomethacin JUST for the sinus because the pain is bad enough to keep me awake, even though, currently (and FORTUNATELY) it has not been triggering migraines on top. (maybe the NSAID prevents it getting there?)

anyway. i hope you are donig better. i hate sinus, and i hate migraines, and having both together REALLY SUXXX.
