Another weekend is upon us and now that the weather is nice I'm wondering what your plans are? I don't have any plans for tomorrow but Sunday I have plans to go out to eat and then to the river or the airport to take pictures. I guess my plans for tomorrow would be to get my aparment cleaned. It looks like my bf will be working tomorrow so he won't be going out of town this weekend. I will probably be seeing him sometime tomorrow but not sure.

Hi,

I will sleep and exercise this weekend --> as much as I can of both.

Hubby has DVD-night with a buddy tomorrow (tonight). Since I will be on my own, so to speak, I might call my girlfriend but I might not.

I have been feeling sad and overwhelmed and generally like carp.
It takes very little for me to go from sad to angry and back to miserable.
I think Sat might be a good day to stay home and relax.
On the other hand, maybe I should try to see my friend after I wake up so I can get out of myself a little.

Have fun Beth.

Mari, whatever you decide to do I hope you will enjoy it.

I found out last night that there's a writer's meeting today at noon but witout any air in my car I'm not sure I want to drive that far. I'll wait and decide.

Well its kind of late to tell what I was going to do for my first day.
So I'll tell what I did. Derrick and I went to the special Olympics meet.

He did well. A 6th, 4th, 3, 1, and 2 5th places. We had lots of fun.
The relay team placed 3rd. And Derrick placed 1st on the running long
jump as it was. They think it was the best he had ever done.

As it was in the relay, one of the boys was almost I guess tripped or
someone almost came over into his lane, so it turned out in the end
that that team was moved down from 4th to 5th place. Or last place.
Instead of getting just a participation ribbon. Derrick also said, they
gave the boy involved a warning.

So it made the boy on our team involved feel better because it
cause some problem with the relay.

Donna, what is a relay? It's been so long since I was a kid and not having any I'm out of it when it comes to such stuff. I'm glad that things turned out good for it.

A relay is were 4 kids run one leg of the race. In this case its a 4 x 100
race. Its been many years since our kids have had two teams.

I am not sure that anyone but one or two remember it. I only know because
the other one was a mixed team before. And yesterday we had a mixed half girl and half boys team. That raced a all boys team. Now at state they will race another mixed team. But to be able to race yesterday they raced this
way. I didn't check but its possible instead of getting a second they got a first because it was two different kinds of teams.

Really will be interesting when Derrick lets me know.
