Dear Mari

thank you for your help. i appreciate it because right now i am googling how to get to the dentist because i have forgotten!

this stuff does not cause mania for me - i have taken up to 100 mg at a time.

i use it regularly for migraines. regularly means about 2ce a month. typically 50mg tid covers the migraine. very occasionally i might need a dose of 75mg. 100 is extremely rare.

this migraine is "out of place" meaning it did not fall in the usual period when i have my two monthly migraines (indeed, i would not schedule a tooth extraction then!)

issues with having taken it are:
- it thins blood same as any other NSAID, so taking it before can be an issue especially if stitches are not to be given
- it has a a longer half-life (4.5 hours compare to about 1.8 for ibuprofen)

again thanks for your help i will check back...
