i heard from the woman in an email. she said they could pick up Luc on tuesday night. I gave it a lot of thought and decided the fair thing for Luc would be for me to rehome him. I can't give him the exercise he deserves and if i keep him for a longer period of time it will be harder to place him and it will be harder for the two of us because the bond will be so much stronger. He hasn't been able to break down my depression and my depression is interfering with giving him the walks he needs let along my physically not being able to give him the long fast walks he really needs.

dear Bobby

i'm sorry. longer faster walks would become doable later, after you started walking some. because you'd end up losing more weight that way as well as gaining stamina... it would get easier.

i am sorry the depression hasn't lifted enough to permit that. i can't help thinking though, that the depression was worsened due to anxiety - you had a bunch of unexpected stuff happen - the stuff with abby, and then the barking. now that these things have passed, are you sure you might not start to feel more relaxed - and less depressed?

i know that you still have fear about being able to care for him and i know you want the best for Luc. only you can tell what is feasible and what is not.

i also gained back four pounds which doesn't make me a h appy camper. luc and i just played fetch. if i didn't have to walk him i would definitely keep him but luc has to be walked. all the stressful things including my thinking that yuki was dying and that pyschiatrist i tried added to my depression but my depression doesn't seem to want to go away. i thought my getting a dog would make it go away. Luc is so cute and so bright and so sweet. i couldnt have asked for a better dog. sigh......i hate bipolar
