Hi,
IF the Klonopin is contributing to the problem, it would be a Paradoxical Reaction type thingy.
I'm sure that the Xanax was contributing in my case, because when I stopped the Xanax last summer, the grinding lessoned.


My pdoc/neuro was making an educated comment about the Klonopin -- not anything based on certainty. He's watched people in sleep labs and listened to the grinding (He can't get over the noise, says it is like grinding the tops of two shot glasses together).

Apparently there is no research on it yet, but he has noticed a connection between Klonopin and teeth grinding. And even though he said he "couldn't pin his hat on it" (or something like that), he thinks he is starting to see the connection in his practice.
Maybe other pdocs/neuros are starting to see it too.

Dealing with these meds sure can be complicated!!
