OK. I feel stupid now, but what is the thumbs up Thanks thing and how do you use it?

it's just a faster way to thank somebody ( acknowledge their posts too) without making a reply post.

there is a thread on community forum feedback about it. first it kept track of all the numbers of thanks you had given and recieved, but that was taken off.

some use it ...some don't.

to use it all you do it click the thank you button on the post that you want to thank the member for. it does not show up on your own posts. the thumbs up...is the post icin. that is different. you just click that before you make a post. it doesn't work with the thank you button.

have i confused you more? i'm good at that.
