Cool Smirk Weekend 24-25 July... Wassup???

Hey folks...

well here we go again, rolling into another juicy weekend!

How is everyone doing? What are you guys up to... any plans, hopes, dreams thoughts... observations on past week???

looking forward to having Bizi back ... hopefully she will stop in and tell us a little about her trip.

I invited Misti to drop in... i wonder if she will ...

this weekend i am going to try to do some stuff. i know i won't do it all, but some would be nice:
1. tidy up clothing
2. tidy up/file/toss papers
3. cook - at least this is a sure thing!
4. work a tailored resume and letter for a specific job i am looking into
5. (maybe) run in the early morning, when it's cool outside!
6. try to reset my sleep to night-time (HAA!)

Dear Waves,
I've got some errands to run: pick up meds, drop off shoes to shoe guy . . .

Today I found a little Farmer's market very close -- 2 miles from home.
They had the humongous tomatoes hubby likes.
The woman working wanted me to taste her lychee nuts. I said no but bought a bag for hubby. . . . also bought a couple each of organic oranges and apples.

Good luck with the resume.

Hi everyone

I had the grandkids for the morning today. Then went to get a massage.
Derrick went to the hairdresser to get his hair cut and had it colored
like the younger guys are now. It looks really good.

We then took his prescription to the pharmacy. And went to get something
to eat. We had a great time at my favorite restaurant. Then I went
back to the pharmacy since, it was to be ready anytime. I let Derrick
sit in the car. I could tell he was tired.

But I get inside and the pharmacist technician, informs me that they need
the medco card. I have never since the beginning had to give someone my card. Then it turns out all my prescriptions have gone through and not
a one of Derricks. So now I don't have his Seroquel, which on the 31 of
July I can't get it any longer till I get a new prescription and he has
seen his Doctor. And I didn't realize he ran out tonight. And I was a idiot
the pharmacist was going to let me have some. But I thought he had a
few more like till Monday.

Then they inform me that the last two days pharmacist didnt' both ordering
the zonegran that she knew the Doctor was ordering. Even though she
was the one that told him it had to be hand delivered. So they don't
have any. And they can try to get it in on Monday. After they call
all the pharmacies in town and not a one carries the brand name.

So now I am so upset. Because they have finally found out why the prescriptions weren't filled. Medco cancelled Derrick's insurance. On
June 14th, even though they filled two maybe three prescriptions after.

The only thing I can figure out is he turned 19 on June 15th. And they
decided to terminate a day early. But never let us know. So we could
get the proper paperwork.

Ugh I can't do a thing till Monday. And I probably can't do a thing then.
I plan to try, but he will not be taking the generic again. I finally
figured out that no generic is better than the wrong one. It will buy us
at least another week. before more seizures. Its ruined my weekend.

Thanks for listing. THis is the reason I need to be here.

Donna

I have an outing planned for Monday and Tuesday with lil dd. I am excited for her to decide to travel overnight,

We had the dumpster to clean out the trailer and downstairs junk to get my room back. Construction on the trailer starts this week. so cool.
I am in so much physical pain from the work. All the upstairs carpets, ditching old clothes, bought new bath towels.

Using the pool so much. Never remember a summer this warm. avg 88* or higher. Tomorrow it will be 95* and my asthma will not be happy. I had to get a nebulizer for daily treatments now.

Keep prayers coming for the family with the litigation issues, it is very promising from all the documents I am able to produce and witnesses now.
Enjoy the weekend, careful of the storms,
Di

Dear Mari

the farmer's market sounds nice. i used to go to those sometimes. thanks i really need to get the resume done even if i don't tidy anything. i'm on dinner duty today though. so that's more "urgent" even if not more "important."

Dear Donna

what can i say. sooo many mishaps between the pharmacy and the insurance and just... man! of course you are upset! i'm upset with you. sending hugs...

Dear Di

that's neat that your young daughter is wanting to travel. i hope everything goes smoothly for her! good job on getting everything done. now sit and give your body the rest it needs, woman!!!

Hi, Misitis,
It is nice to see you.
Do you garden?
I miss homegrown fruit and veggies.

Enjoy your dinner and movie.

Hi Misti!

i'm glad you stopped in. you know you are ALWAYS welcome here. how was the movie? what did you see? it's been so long since i've been to the movies. the local theater is running outdoor films all summer. maybe i'll push myself ... and go be skeeter-food sometime

actually i'm pretty good with resumes. so yeah i could give lots of pointers ... but where to begin... it depends on what you've got and what you need to do with it. do you need to update an existing resume, or are you starting from scratch?

speaking of which i did get mine done, in between cooking and prepping things. decided to use a new layout (functional) because it is not for the usual positions i apply for, and although i do have a little relevant experience, it would be drowned out in the usual (chronological) format. so tomorrow i get to work on the letter to go with it.

also tomorrow maybe do some of that tidying up of things . that has been hanging over me, so i think i had better to do even just a little. so far the sleep schedule is not happening and neither is the running. at least i walked to the store yesterday.

a movie is on right now with a voiceover by the same guy who dubs Angel... this guy and the woman who dubs Ellen Muth in Dead Like Me both have very distinctive voices, and i keep recognizing them when they do voiceovers for other characters, played by different actors. It really messes with my head because i can't seem to dissociate the voices from David Boreanaz and Ellen Muth respectively.

Mistis

I believe I've talked to you before. But if not welcome back.
I'm Donna, and I have a 19 year old that I talk about a lot.
Named Derrick. And a lot others I say things about once in
a while.

didn't get anything done today.

managed to take a shower. but for the rest did nothing. didn't even watch tv. even forgot house was on till my mom asked. ended up seeing the last half, half-heartedly, and the show that was on after it.

i feel like my heart is in my shoes. i felt like that all day. my mother upset me carrying on about vitamin d too. but the weather is cooling down so maybe i can just have him prescribe it while i look for an alternative otc.

i just want to be left alone. i really want a hideyhole right now. the night is my hideyhole and not a good one because someone gets up and even wanders in here from time to time...
