Now the key board is not the same.
The parts of the key board that hit the watermelon juice are clickity clackity. Does it matter? It is going to get worse? Or can I get used to it? Should I order a new keyboard (I have an imac)? M. |

Dear Mari
this site walks you through cleaning a keyboard: http://www.net4tv.com/voice/story.cfm?storyid=1032 i don't know if you want to try that. otherwise, i'd say just use the keyboard as is until it becomes unusable and then ... yes, replace it. ~ waves ~ |

A keyboard cleaning thread from our computer forum -
http://neurotalk.psychcentral.com/sh...light=keyboard I always have a spare keyboard just in case...to use while favorite is drying out before I plug in back in. but I have had to rinse mine under the facet a few times due to sticky liquids getting spilled in them.... I only took it apart if it still didn't work right after the good rinse & dry.

I've done it with 4 diff keyboards and 2x with one of them -the 3rd time I tried it wasn't fixable but was a cheap one anyway.
just be sure to get it dry all the way & it's nice to have a spare one just in case.. If you have a real expensive one- taking it apart might be the better way to go.
