Default Hello, Donna

I've been thinking about you.
Did Derrick get his meds?
Is he doing better?

Thank you

I just now found this thread.

Derrick is doing pretty good. We still can't get the seroquel.

I am watching him, and so far he is okay. I did taper him off
of it. So that it wouldn't be a just going off really fast.

But I do also have to take him back to the doctor now.
His prescription ran out on 7/31/10. Ugh.

I was going to make a appointment later in August because
he is starting school on 8/13/10, and I have appointments,
this week, and Sabrina does next week.

So it is making a mess.

Thanks for the update Donna.

good luck with all those appointments! you really have your hands full!

when you get the Seroquel again, i would titrate back up to Derrick's target dose, rather than start him on the whole dose initially, since it can lower seizure threshold.

Waves & everyone

Yes, I will be doing that. But I will also be seeing if we even need to
add it back. I'm not sure. If we can make it without it then we
will try again.

Its not the best time to try it, but then when is a perfect time.

He is sneezing again a lot. So I need to add back the allergy medication
before we have the next step problem with that.

Dear Donna,
I hope that Derrick's unexpected med change works out for him.

So far the med changes seem to be working pretty good.

We will see how it continues. Without the seroquel for a little
longer.

I had a very nice thing happen today.

We are going through some changes with work. And I was told that
I had a $ 75.00 budget for food at a Get together for my volunteers.

We usually are allowed to spend under $ 10.00 a person.

Well gosh, at this particular rate they are expecting us to have less
than 10 people there.

I have a volunteer in my group, I had emailed, because she caters.
And I thought maybe she could help me by giving me ideas how
to put together the food, at this kind of budget.

So what did she do, she offered to do the food.

All of the food. And it looks like she is going to do it for under $ 75.00.

Wow, what a nice day it has been for me.
