Dear Donna,

That sounds so hard -- to have to educate people.
You are doing the work of angels.
You deserved a nap after that.

Dear Donna,

i agree you are doing a great job. i am sure it must not feel like it when Derrick gets mad and resists your help, but he seems to be going through some denial of sorts. he may not want to believe things have got this out of control when he is taking his meds. but i am guessing at least part of it is that the seizures impair his ability to see them, in the way that you do.

you definitely deserved a nap after a day like that, and i am glad you allowed yourself one.

Derrick could not ask for a better mom.

Hi everyone

Things went lots better today. Derrick was very tired after first
day back at school. But he had no seizures. So that was great.

He slept on couch part of evening. While I was out talking
to a couple of friends.

Dear Donna, it is particularly a nightmare to deal with these issues when it comes to one's own children. Mine has perhaps twenty percent of what Derrick is going through, but even that drives me totally batty and leaves me emotionally drained - in spite of a very supportive husband.

You are an amazing woman! I really admire you.
