Hi,
I'm exhausted.
The cleaning lady and I worked hard today.

The last time Mom and Dad were here, we still had everything in boxes from the move across town. Things are mostly out of boxes even if they are not put away yet. Close enough.

Dad sent me four chapters of his book two days ago that he wants me to edit.
I read 5 pages. If it were important to him, he might have sent them to me a little earlier.

Hubby is rather anxious and annoying -- he starts anxious at his baseline.

you have worked hard, and not just today. your house sounds to be in very good shape.

i hope hubby and mom can co-babysit enough to take the pressure off you for dealing with either one. i recall you had some gardening plans for them and that they would be going to the gym together.

your dad should have sent you the text earlier. don't knock yourself out - he obviously didn't. and you've already been knocking yourself out prepping for them, mentally and physically.

i hope all in all you manage to have a good visit, or at least a tolerable one.

Yeah I wouldn't push yourself on the chapters Mari, I hope that you enjoy having your parents there this weekend. I know it's stressful, but it's good to have a chance to visit. Let us know how it goes!

Parents were nice.

I have only slept about 4 hours of sleep at night for a while.
I read my father's stuff at night and then in the daytime, we went over my comments and discussed his work. In the evening he and I hooked up with hubby and Mom who had their own activities during the day.

We wake up at 8:00 am Monday to drive them to the airport -- because hubby thinks I need to go with him to drop them off.

I am not sure what has changed about you.

But I like this new Mari. I like the old one too. But this one sounds
so much more relaxed after just having spent 3 or so days with her
parents.

I really think your husband will appreciate your going to the airport
with him.

And I know already how much you appreciate him.

it sounds like the visit with your parents went well. i am glad. i think i understand hubby's wanting you to go with him to drop them off. but i also understand the need for sleep! i hope you get to catch up on sleep afterwards.
