Hi,
I hope that everyone is mostly ok. Maybe you are better than ok. That would be good. Saturday we have a new moon. In poetry it can be a time of growth. i have had to do a lot of thinking this past week (more than i would have liked, in some instances!)
i get the feeling there will be more thinking this weekend. but more in terms of personal choices and how i can make best use of the opportunites in my immediate future. i am having to reframe quite a few things. i need to pay some attention to my thinking process, and emotional relationship to practical things. can i find ways to approach these things so they don't become hindrances or even blocks, as they have so often, in so many ways. perhaps the new moon will send me vibes to help me renew myself. ~ waves ~ |

happy birthday john lennon thanks for posting that waves!
We jsut got back home from a restaurant called Randols. It is cajun and they have good food. I experienced boiled blue crabs tonight. They are a lot of work opening them up and cleaning them and picking out the crab....I had six and they were good. It took me a long time to "eat" them and I don't know that I will ever do that again....but there is a first for everything. Jeff is playing tomorrow with the zydeco band for a festival here in town. Festival Acadiens and creoles, he has a lot of fun playing with them! This will be the first time that I will see them playing together so I am looking forward to hearing them play! Can't believe it is october.....time is just flying by. bizi

we went to the festival today and saw hubby play., the band sounded good I was happy for him. he is gone for a wedding gig and then plays again tonight, that is 3 gigs in one day!
my feet are all dusty, we danced some, waltzes and 2 -steps sort of zydeco...had great food pork ribs and rice dressing and lima beans with sausage which i gave to jeff...yuck! chocolate eclair....yum! I am getting ready to go to the gym...they close in a couple of hours so I better get off of this computer if I am going to go! bizi

 i am glad you enjoyed the show and the dancing with Jeff's zydeco band.i woke up feeling miserable and i don't know why. i mean profound melancholy out of nowhere. ended up crying, then i was just grumpy the rest of the day. i did a couple practical things for monday... reducing last minute rush. for all my good intentions regarding attitude adjustment this weekened... it just took nose-dive. i am about to go to sleep. and am sleepy from my meds. maybe a good state from which to try that imagery of all of this angst in a package floating down the river... away... away... ~ waves ~ |

Parents and most of my nieces and nephews are at their camper... I went for a couple of hours... ate dinner and watched as the kids went trick-or-treating. All of the campers where they go have a big halloween party for the kids.
The costumes the kids were wearing were awesome!!! Lots of imagination!!! Well... I'm off to bed. I know I'm gonna have increased pain tomorrow... An hour or so of play...takes two or three days to pay for it. Hope everyone is having a wonderful weekend. Abbie

I almost picked a fight w/ someone at work on Monday. She's new and young and wrong so I jumped on her about something that is very important to me.
