Yeah, I wouldn't worry about the American Government. With basically every person elected people have always had something to complain about one way or another. I think it is best to ignore it for the most part seeing as how basically no matter the politician, we're out of luck. I feel it is best to vote when you think it is the right guy but don't let politics, politicians and the economy control your life and how your day goes. It sounds as though you're fixated on the politics so work on pushing that 'next channel' button or going out to jog. When things happen, live on.
