I really haven't had time to come in and talk lilke I like. I've really
been busy lately.

also wondering how everyone is.... especially Derrick has the doc managed to sort out his med doses yet, or still drawing levels and tweaking? has he mostly regained sz control?

how is Devin's job working out... does he like it so far?

Thanks to you both.

I have to admit, I thought for a few minutes today. I was going to be
resigning my job. I just really didn't see how to get a student out of
a situation.

Yes, I realize he had got him self in the situation. But I had let the
committee meet to hold a manifestation. Even though the parents,
with my thoughts. Had requested a Emotional evaluation in the right
time frame. On top of his already ADHD title and OHI.

But it turned out best in the end. For some reason the school changed
its mind when I had left upset for a few minutes. And went back
to talking about letting the expulsion be stopped, and the student
moving in with his dad. And to another high school in the town.

Which we had already tried, when we could see it wasn't going to be
found part of his disability caused his problem. On school that day.

I was not happy. I thought I had screwed up the situation bad.

But all is well withdrawn from one and put in another tomorrow.
And it will be a better placement for him too.

Now about my son's.

Derrick and his girl Sarah are going to their bowling meet on Saturday morning.
Then we will see what happens. But Derrick has invited her to the semi
formal dance if they feel like going. If not just to dinner and/or a movie.

I think its good. They wont be wasting their money either this way. Because
if they do go to the dance, they are buying tickets at the door.
If not they don't waste the money that way.

I haven't warned Derrick yet that her mom says they are paying for Sarah's
stuff that night. He is not going to be happy. I'll figure something out.


Now Devin I haven't talked to about his job. But he is still working, and
he even found a way to pay me back $150.00 last week. Really nice.
I needed some extra help.

Haven't talked to my oldest in a while either. But he was looking good last
time I saw him.

Now have to tell you I seem to be getting what I keep referring to
as found. Not exactly sure how or why. But some reason its been
determined that as I start my 10 year with IN*SOURCE that I
should be found. And that I should be busy and happy.

I have to admit, I never thought the day would come that this many
parents would be finding me at one time. I just need a little better
organization plan. I have to figure out how to load my data better.

And to organize my messes. If I can do both of those. Even though
my job performance numbers next month wont be real good for all year.

It will start looking up for the next year.


Have to also admit I got a nice compliment again Tuesday from my
supervisor about the two groups I was in charge of. With my co-workers.

Its honestly the first time I've taken or been given the lead. One of the
groups the (Newsletter group) had the neatest paperwork ready for
our in-service. And I can take create for that. I put it together from
what others gave us.

I'm so pleased with what I did. And I think so were others.

You have a difficult job, and it must be hard not to get emotionally involved. That's probably why you're so good at it!

Oh it definately is hard to not get emotionally involved. But yesterday
it was more because I was so upset because I could have stopped what
the school originally was trying. They were in a position to expel him.

Anyway its over. And I had the day off, so I spent it doing what I could
to enjoy myself. I also was in charge of getting Derrick back and forth
to school.

I have a early day tomorrow. And I have a second thing. Three of
my parents are going to talk to a class of Early childhood education

So its kind of interesting and neat to me.

My last post was kind of unclear. I basically meant to say that you're good at your job because you care, but it didn't come out that way.
