Default no DSL in new place

Hi,
The phone company told me today after 6:00 pm that there is no DSL in the new place. The phone company rep told me that "engineers are working to repair the facility." He could not give me an estimated date for service.

This means that I go with dial-up or cable. I hate dealing with cable companies more than I hate dealing with phone companies.

Dial up!!!!!!!

Yeah, get out the violins. Don't laugh at me.

I told hubby that we will stay in that new apartment FOREVER. We will only move under the condition that I hire movers and packers and we do the whole move my way 100%. He said ok.

Mari,
Maybe cable is the way to go, it might even be cheaper. I have the bundle package, phone, cable tv and internet, one bill.

Yes, dealing with cable companies can be a pain. But here, they just hook you up outside, if the people before you had cable, then it's just a flick of a switch.

I never had DSL so I don't know much about it.
good luck!!!!!!! Best wishes in your new home....enjoy.

Hugs, Nikko
