Huuuuuuuummmmmmmmmmmm ! Mint tea !!! Im gonna drink one right now... I will sleep like a baby I think ! Thanks for mentioning it

Yeah... daily... because if you have white dots, that means you have bateria... (what we see as white dots are precisly white cells... the ones in the immune system that are trying to "eat" the bacteria in our faces) So, when you put your face over the case, you infest it with bacteria... oh those germs I hate !

I have 3 pillow cases... I wash them everyday so I have always one spare to use...

Dear Bizi,
I wash with water too. Soap is too drying for my skin.

I do need an exfoliating plan -- don't have one at the moment. I have heard of making a facial scrub out of sugar and oil for the face.

I also don't wear make up. I'm allergic /irritated by most stuff (even the hypo allergenic stuff) on the market.

The make up comes off very quickly when I sweat at work during most of the year.

I do dab on organic almond oil or organic hand lotion sometimes before bed.

M.

I had terrible acne rosacea when I turned 40. When I started taking the Lexapro 4 years ago, my face was so clear I could not believe it. I thought it may be the Lexapro, but then I noticed that when I did not have money for a refill or cut down, the redness and pimples came back. I hated it.
I did this at least 5 times and related the clearing up to the Lexapro, I have no reason to know why. I also have a decent moisturizer, the Loreal and even granias nutrise (sp) just so they felt well, smooth when they went on and not greasy I did really well.

I use to buy a Lancome for Rosacea, for dry skin, but at $48 it was costly for the pot. But it did help so much.
I cut out soda, drink more water and green tea now too. Well since last summer when I had to cut my dose down due to cost.

My dd 15 said to me today, Mommy how come your old but do not have wrinkles, I did not know if I should hug her or hit her, lol. She loves how smooth my face is, and hopeful that she won't have wrinkles either.
Kids....

It is possible that working out is triggering the acne.

Stress of any kind can do that. This is because the adrenal glands click on and pour out cortisol, to handle the stress. Physical or emotional can do it. Cortisol causes the acne in sensitive people.

Also you will not know this without a blood test, but some women have more testosterone than others. If this is your case then you will be more prone to acne as well. A hint of this would be facial and body hair distribution. As you approach menopause and go thru it, you may find more hair on the chin area and neck.
Some women even get a kind of acne called "senile" acne at this time of life. Another sign of higher testosterone is oily skin.

Red face

thank you for sharing!
I don't think it is testosteron issues no facial hair etc.
It may be due to the exercisingbut doubtful as I have had this all along, years before I started exercising.
I thin the pillow issue contributed alot!
I have acne on my chest too, there I have never put any products just washing with soap. my face is smooth this morning not oily like it was last night...interesting!

My cook book came in today about the paleo diet.
It is very restrictive.
no grains, dairy or legumes or soy,
no corn or potatoes.(sweet potatoes are ok)
did you know that peanuts are legumes????
sigh
lean meats, most vegatables, fruits, nuts and seeds. olive oil.
anyone eat this way?
my face has 2 fewer white heads today and the big pimple on my chin is clearing up.
interesting

I'd have a problem without peanuts and potatoes...
I'm so glad your face is looking better!

I picked the crap out of my face last night. Of course it just makes things worse.

Dear Bizi,
I did the diet for a few weeks once. It did not feel right for me. I like beans and such.
You can find forums or yahoo groups for this Paleo diet.
http://forum.lowcarber.org/forumdisplay.php?f=107

The most important part of the diet is giving up processed foods. It is a healthy way to eat. Eat lots of veggies and greens.
