I spent my 401K waiting for my Social Security Disability hearing. It was a 2 1/2 year wait. Without the SSD,I wouldn't have anything in the bank.
When they mention SS changes possible,it's a tremendious trigger. The people who are making decisions have government pensions,and the best of health care,and are not worried about their futures. They had fallout shelters,and everything. Thank you for helping me through this painful trigger. BF

The SSDI claim process is a killer!
My husband and I lost our condo in a short-sale, spent all our savings, and incurred massive debt while I waited to be approved for benefits. We barely get by living paycheck to paycheck and have $10 in our savings account right now. The cost of my medical care is ridiculous. Try not to worry about what other people have. I'm very thankful to have the benefits now, and I know you are too. |
