Beth,
They were already in the afterlife in the alternative story line. I think I need to replay the part where Jack and Christian talk. Jack has figured it all out at that point. M. |
What was your favorite scene?
Quote:
We had two stories to wrap up: 1. plot -- the one that Christian Shephard explains 2. emotions Plot: The alternate time line was sort of purgatory /waiting room-- they were already dead and waiting for each other so that they could move on. When they met in the church they were ready to be together again. The island time line was real. I think that the writers did not completely resolve this plot. Emotions: The emotional story played out completely. In the alternative side line, many people had worked out what they needed. We were happy to see them happy and untroubled: Sayid and Charlotte, Sawyer and Juliet, Jack and his father, . . . The emotional story wrapped up well. We did feel that the show reached an ending. My favorite scene: I liked the Sawyer and Juliet scene. The writers teased us with that a bit before Sawyer and Juliet "remembered." Did you have a favorite scene? M. |
