thank you curious....that is a great suggestion about the ambesol...and interesting about windex too.
did not get much sleep last night after trying to get to bed...came home this morning and took a 4 hour nap. that is what I needed, missed work but will catch up later this week. Our stove is broken...so will have to stay home tomorrow morning who knows all day...never know with repair guys. anyway... sorry to complain so much. bizi

Bizi I was just thinking do you have lidoderm patches around. The inventer of them developed for his wives shingles.
I used a lidicain, or bendary product with lidocain (like in aleo for sunburn) There is a generic Frst Aid liquid that has lidocain in it too. When I would get it, I ended up needing hydrocortizone for the ppainful itchiness, and steroids too. Hope you get better relief today, Di

ya know, during the day when my body itches I can ignore it by doing other things but at night when I am trying to sleep...it is really hard to ignore. Please send some nonintchy thoughts my way for tonight. thank you bizi

Dear Bizi,
I hope that you are sleeping and not itching. Surely if you got this on Wednesday, you should be over the worst soon -- at least I hope that that is the case. Watch out for the steroids and hyp-mania. Mari |

Glad to see the lidocaine worked. The worst I ever got was hives and a light case of chicken pox so I can't even imagine how much agony you have been in.
I raise a glass of lidocaine gel in your honor for making it this far!

Your welcome....unfortunately scratching an itch only feels good for a few minutes then it burns or hurts....then itches like crazy again.
I hope that the poison ivy patch is gone from your garden now.
