Thanks Mari! I just redid them because I kinda messed them up doing my Grandmother's nails. They are a pretty silver and pink now. Will share pics when I get them uploaded.

Dear Pam,

That's cool that you can connect with your grandmother this way.

Thanks Mari! I know, it is awesome to be able to reach out and her reach back and meet halfway over nails. Something so simple yet so much fun to do together. Here is my new manicure:

And here is how hers looked:

Your nails, and your grandmother's look great!

I painted my nails twice Monday evening...
The first time I tried a base and top coat & when I went to take off the polish from the surrounding skin, it started peeling all the polish off my nails!

The second time, I skipped the base coat, and did the top coat Tuesday. They came out alright, and so far are holding up... just a couple of chips on the tips.

I think I'm going to polish again tomorrow.

Thanks Kay! I get bored with polish colors easily too, so I like to change them like twice a week. At least, this past week was three times and I am loving this polish job. Still it has until Monday or even Sunday and I will redo them. I always use a base coat because of the staining polish can leave behind, but you can do it without one. Not too bad for painting them on Monday to have only a couple of chips. My blue marble manicure lasted a few days and then only today did I notice one small chip.

I bought a new base coat today, I am hoping it will let me get more then one darn day out of a manicure. I got a neon pink I am going to wear tonight, but I got this new polish called Black Mesh, it's a Crackle polish from China Glaze, check it out in these pics:

And here it is overtop of a purple polish:

I am still learning to apply it but it looks pretty cool I think! Thought you'd all enjoy the new pics.
