Question

Dear Pam,

How do you keep your cuticles nice?
Mine are so ragged.

When I was younger I used to take time for my nails. Now I make sure that they are clean and short. I do wish the cuticles looked healthier.

I just use Olive oil on them, like I try to once or twice a day, but I have had a setback, my pinky on the left hand got ripped off below the quickline three days ago, stinks....I have been keeping a bandaid on it with neosporin so its not infected, but dang if it doesn't hurt like heck! I don't cut my cuticles anymore, I think that was making them more ragged then leaving them alone. So now I just apply a little olive oil and rub it in.

Red face

I agree iwth you pam about cutting the cuticles making them more ragged.I have one troublesome cuticle, where Ihave cut back so many times it has permanently moved that side of the nail bed, always pick at it and pull hang nails there so that 3rd finger on my right hand is the only one that gives me fits...if I could just leave it alone. see if I can attach a picture of it.

congratulations pammie!!!
If you are counting carbs remember that you get to subtract the fiber carbs. so lets say the double fiber bread by natures own has 13 carbs a slice but also has 5 fiber grams do the math and you get 8 carbs for one slice of bread. that is the only really low carb bread that I know of.
let us know how we can help you...good luck!!!!!
we are here to support you...
go pammie go!!!!

Thanks bizi! I am really happy it's already working, we have these awesome low carb wraps that are 6 net carbs each and are a satisfying sandwich bread, I am really adjusting well I think and very pleased to say we've all already lot about 4 pounds each. Jack has actually lost 6 but he started a couple days before me.

Wow! I am up to 8 pounds, that's great! It is so much easier with all of us on it, kiddo has lost 12 pounds and it's great to see him losing finally. I am really glad Jack wanted to do this. Thanks for the support!
