It's nothing, really, so easy 1ce I just did it. Already had the photos in mind. ;) I usually do all email via iPad, & NT won't let me paste photos like email does. Have to be at the laptop or desktop to upload to NT. Not a major deal at all, more an imposition on my sheer & voluminous laziness.

Hope you can have a good weekend. I will be playing with my Magic Piano, but befoe I get to that I have a work meeting with major VIPs. The kind I have to wear shoes for. Ugh.

Jude,

Such a cool name for a beach
If that place didn't already exist, it should be discovered. :D

=-=

I looked up the etymology of the name. From the best I can figure it comes from a French expression that pretty much means the same thing in English.

I want to go to that Beach!!! :Excited: :Excited: :Excited:

Maybe I can get a souvenir or post card on-line. It looks small on map? No store that would sell me a tchotchke with the beach's name?

M.

That photo was in the local paper & I grabbed it from the online version, but I've got other photos of Pass-a-Grille. I've been going for 60 yrs! Yep, we've got old Kodak Brownie B&W prints. I'll dig them up & scan them. Could even snap some digitals; of course I haven't. Who takes photos of places they've seen most of their lives, even gorgeous places.

Actually it's but a vague much-smaller version of the beach I grew up with. The dunes are gone now. It's still the wildest beach around here & virtually commerce-free. But it's so tiny now. It exists for me mostly in guided memory--even in reality. I go there early, sunrise or before. Put cucumber or aloe pads on my eyes, keep them firmly closed, lie on the sand, listen to & smell & feel the day awaken & move along for an hour or two. Sip water from my bottle without ever opening my eyes. Any sight destroys what to me is the "real" Pass-a-Grille Beach.

And the birds! I think every one is a stand-up comic.

So I'll try to recreate it for you so you can travel at will in your imagination. :circlelove: That will give it a firmer reality & who knows? Maybe in some parallel universe the original will be clean & big & wild still. :heartthrob:
