Default Gabapentin the different generics

Hi I need some thoughts.

I picked up new prescription. And I was taken down 1/2 my old dosage the last time it was filled. From 6 pills to 3 pills. It was the same exact generic though. And even though there was a little more pain. I was doing very well.

So when I went to pick up the new prescription, trying to find to get back to my old dosage or close soon. Becaust e even though the prescription was 6 I usually took 4. And took 6 if I was in really bad pain.

The pharmacy had not my usually gabapentin, its a different generic. Maybe its just because we are so critical with different generics for seizure. But this isn't usually for seizures for me. But I have never taken anything but the original brand for almost 4 years I believe.

So I really am and was upset. I have instead of starting to try and go back
to my 4 generics. I'm thinking of going off completely. And paying the
almost 5 times as much for the cymbalta. Because it will never be a different
med.

I can't afford both. And next month who knows what manufacturer they will get and give me.

I have no say. I have to wait till the day my pay comes around when I run out anyway. Sometimes its going to be 10 days later.

I don't know what to do. Not sure if I filled out the paperwork, and was approved if my doctor's office would always get same meds.

Its quite a thought.

At least I could go back on all my meds.

Life is a lemon right now.
