feelin' better thanx
I took the week off.  :D
This whole thing would have been simpler if it had happened on my home turf, but my job has me traveling; so the HS got me in Denver. The 2-wk supply of meds I carry with me were therefore out-of-state. The hospital eval'd me & I probably would have had most of the stuff pretty soon, but once they'd stabilized me they weren't doing anything medically, so why hang around? To catch some infection they might not know how to cure or run up a bill no one could afford to pay? Mari, I love your watering ideas! Never thought of hosing the car top. That's a natural, makes good sense. I wear wet clothes all the time, but not for work of course. It's harder since I fly so much & usually take limos or if I'm lucky catch rides. Water in other people's car can be touchy. I do have this thing that hangs around my neck, has a water reservoir & fan, kind of a portable swamp fan (if you know what that is, if you dont I'd guess you've never been in Arizona...it's poor folks AC). So I'm tucked in at home, the high desert of New Mexico where healing just naturally happens & I'm happy (if I can be happy). I'm okay anyway, & for the time being I'm grateful for that. A big  to each of you. |
Hi, JudeLauren,
I'm happy that you are safe at home. I dream about living in that part of the country. You are in a good place for healing. :) Quote:

I am glad that you took some time off work and that you are home and feeling better.
We lived in arizona before moving to the the south. We loved all of the red rock formations. it is very flat here highest hill is 550 feet. bizi |
Thanks, bizi. Yeah, it was enough of a scare that I've been real good to me. I'll see my primary MD Monday, then get back to "life as usual" Tuesday I guess.
I've spent a lot of great time in Arizona. Oh, yeah, a 550-ft hill is definitely downsizing. But there's down yet to go. Besides my New Mexican hovel, I have a tiny FL condo. Altitude? :D 19ft! :ROTFLMAO: But traveling so much is exhausting. I wish I could retire. Can't see how I ever can... |
