Default mental health tool chest

Hi everyone,
here is the tool list I promised you earlier

These tools can be used at any time.Just one tool can get you out of a downward spiral.I have saved myself countless times and avoided much social embarsement and inner pain.

Better to know this stuff and the most important part is its use.Nothing will be accomplished with just knowing these tools.

The best way to practice is through your lesser links.

1. Do the thing you fear and hate to do,it will strengthen your nervous system.
2.Treat mental health as a business and not a game
3.If you can't change your attmosphere you can always change your attitude
be self lead not symptom lead
4.nervous symptoms are distressing but not dangerous temper is ,among other things, blindness to the other side of the story
5.Comfort is a want not a need
6.there is no right or wrong in trivialties in life
&.Calm begets calm,temper begets temper
9.Don't take your dearself to seriously.
10.helplessness is not hopelessness.
11.Feelings should be expressed temper supressed.
12.nervous people favorite pastime is self torture.

Ill send more tomorrow

Best.john

This is excellent.

What is a "lesser link?"

I particularly like 2 and 3.

When I'm upset, I always try to control my thoughts, recognizing that this is within my capability, my personal responsibility to do so and always in my best interest to do so because if for no other reason, it makes me feel better and results in a better outcome as well. This way I don't feel helpless or hopeless (10).

#1 is awesome! There is this book called "Feel the Fear and Do It Anyway" one of the best books around!

Looking forward to more stuff.....good to know and like you said...best to "use."
