Default Things hopefully looking up

In someways things look better, in others well rollercoasters.

My husband, is getting on the ball more looking for a job.

I have got the settlement check. So I'm going to e writing checks
soon.

Now just too work out Derrick, and his work situation.

I know how much of a relief it would be for you to see your husband out there, really involved in that job search. I pray for him, Donna, that he stay strong, because it is so difficult to keep up the bravado in such a negative environment.

Ironic, isn't it?, that Derrick would just now decide to quit! Yes, volunteering is a good substitute if money's no issue. The art option with the schools sounds great, if it works out--& would look very good on a resume, in lieu of just "unemployed."

Hi Everyone,

I have had a great two days. It was so nice going to South Bend, and
spending the night. I got to watch one of my PSV's which is a volunteer,
do a Podcast.

She did one on 504's and did a great job.

I then got to go to our main office. And see all the office staff that
I'm lucky if I get to see once a year.

So I might get lucky and see them two times this eyar.

It was so much fun to get away from here. With out anyone for a couple
of days.

Then I came home. And helped Derrick write his resignation. Still have
no real clue what he will do after this. But one baby step at a time.

Sometimes I feel refreshed just breathing air shared with new people for a change. Not to mention new voices. New subjects. No one actively wanting anything from me. Especially not needing anything. Just a day of that can make a big break if I'm really stressed. But then after South Bend, you came home & helped Derrick quit. Ouch.

All I know is, "To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven." i just pray that this is--for some reason--time for Derrick to move on to a new purpose. So many times in my life this happened, & I couldn't sort it out till later. Maybe this time you ought to just wait a bit & see whether "someone" has a purpose. Maybe you won't have to do anything--maybe plans are already in the works.

Funny, i can almost always get that quote exact, but I'm never sure whether it's Proverbs or Ecclesiastes. My mind abandons hither & Thurber. Or something.

Hi,
It's Ecclesiastes 3:1 -14.

Turn Turn Turn / To Everything There Is A Season by the Byrds.

Glad thiings are looking up for your family and I hope it continues! We're still having a rocky time of it, especially my poor husband, who has been hospitalized for over two months.

I'm looking for that rainbow, but it's tough to find...

Devin got laid off again.

Ugh, he can't seem to get a break.

He is really going to be upset, he looked so happy, when I saw him
yesterday.

He had borrowed the money to pay for the van's insurance. Now he
is going to be upset about that.
