I'm so sorry, Donna. It's like a triple roller coaster for you guys.

will he be eligible for unemployment? that will buy him some time looking for another job?
I am sorry about this. bizi |
No, he technically has always worked for a temporary
company at a different company. So he isn't supposedly eligible for unemployment. I don't understand it all, but in another way I do. But he has worked at times for almost if not over 3 months, at some of the businesses he has worked at. But because he is temporary through a temporary agency he doesn't qualify. Its not fair, at least in most times. This time I can't tell you, because it was a week. But at times he has worked 3 months, and not a cent does:grouphug:he qualify. Twice so far this year. And at least twice last year. That I know of. Donna:grouphug: |
Okay, I think my son was at a position that he just couldn't
handle. Not sure. What he said, Was. That they let him go, because he Knocked over something. Or something like that. To me that meant he was messing up. Anyway, next week, my husband plans, to start working on his houses. And use both Danny and Devin to help him. So they will both make money. He also told Devin that if he needs money to let him know. So hopefully he will. This kid has never had the best relationship with his dad. Thanks in large to what happened as a kid with his brother. And the problems it created, because he didn't think his dad protected him. But they are working on their relationship to a degree. Just like Danny and Devin. Honestly I never thought my two older son's would be friends let alone brothers. Its so refreshing to know, I taught them something about family. donna:grouphug: |
Donna,
what a wonderful post. well, not so much about Devin being let go but how your hubby and sons will be working together, and i'm sure that what made this possible is indeed your teaching, nurturing, patience, and support over the years. Megakudos, Mommabear! :);) ~ waves ~ |
Anyone that has clues on how to make a husband do things.
Or keep him, let me know. He is really doing more right now. So hopefully it will keep up. On another note. Derrick started school Wednesday, He found out that he is going to help out in the cafeteria after breakfast. Then he will be working on what he will do for a job. He will probably talk to the art teacher at one of the Elementary. He also learned one of the teacher's is having Derrick withdrawal. The strength training teacher, has been looking all through his schedules for him. He has been wanting to know were he is. SO I guess he told his tor that he still has room for him. To tell him that. Then he told his 7th grade classroom. Derrick's not in this class either. Were is he. So he probably has no clue how much this meant to my son. He only didn't take this class because he gets so tired with it and Adaptive PE. Donna:grouphug: |
That is so sweet...thanks for sharing.

:) It's so good to know how much others care about him too, Donna. I know that alone doesn't solve any problems, but it seem like a comfort.

the look on his face when he was telling me the story was priceless. Donna:grouphug: |
