this is the first night in a while that i went to sleep about 1.30ish and woke up spontaneously just before 7. that's what, 5.5 hours straight. that's excellent. other than the psychopath and the flowers.

IMO you dreamt about 80% of a full-length film script. So I have to ask: Are you a writer? I seem to remember your making a reference or two to writing...

I was part of a dream group for several years. Creative people often dreamt creatively--or perhaps the flip of that is the basic truth. Two of our members were writers, & they "wrote" novels, film, even poetry. One woman (we had only women in the group to eliminate gender dynamics, which could inhibit openness) always cast at least one part with an acter who was perfect for the role whenever the genre was film. I had thought that was her personal dream vocabulary, but you've brought that into question.

Another discovery during the dream group years was that creative dreaming generally resulted in somewhat longer sleep time; in spite of the "work" accomplished, the dreamer usually felt as rested as usual.

ROFLOLOL :D if only!!!! i suppose that it certainly had the makings of a complete plot, with one or two loose ends (and the final ending) to be worked out. certainly could be expounded upon. i actually have a book on script-writing. in the garage of course, along with the rest of my life. :(

haha. yes i write... poetry songs... letters to friends? seriously i've dabbled and in recent years tried to i dunno find inspiration to do something bigger... you know a "piece" that i could... well, sell... or even give away. i had/have a few ideas but depression often crimped the spells of creativity. conversely, with poetry, depression often fueled them but the poems are not marketable - too dark - much too dark... i'd be afraid of inspiring impressionable youngsters in a bad, bad way.

lol... this is the first time for me, at least that i recall, that i've put an actor face into a dream like that. i think it drives the point home... Hopkins does the evil crazy dude bit real well... makes it REAL. the dream itself did not take the form of film... it was... realistic, in its surrealism?;)

interpretation:

--in the night - symbolically when i sleep,
--i sneak into my psychE's Other Office - symbolically the subconscious,
--to search for information on how to solve my problems, answer my questions, etc.

seems like maybe my own dream here is answering my wondering as to why i am even having all these vivid dreams in this period of time.
